This was my own version of a stress test.
#T1D friends- anyone notice that their blood sugar rises when they are stressed or nervous?
I am able to track these patterns and act accordingly thanks to my @dexcom CGM.
I started my Zoom meeting tonight at 99 mg/dL. I ended at 121 mg/dL. Not terrible. This is because I knew how my body was going to react, so I gave a small dose of #insulin prior to my meeting.
Bottom line- I am able to fine-tune my diabetes care by listening to body and paying close attention to patterns.
Do you pay attention to your patterns? Better question- do you make changes after noticing your patterns?
