Not to brag, but I’m CRUSHING my sleep game this week!!!
Getting quality sleep is ESSENTIAL and helps support good physical and cognitive health.
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) states that sleep problems affect 25-50% of children!
Newborns- 14-17 hours
Infants (4-12 months)- 12-16 hours
Toddlers- 11-14 hours
Preschool- 10-13 hours
School age- 9-12 hours
Teenagers- 8-10 hours
Adults (18-60 years)- 7+ hours
Adults (61-64 years)- 7-9 hours
Adults (65+)- 7-8 hours
Maintain a consistent schedule
Keep bedtime and wake-up time the same on weekdays and weekends
Have a cool, quiet, and comfortable sleep environment
Avoid caffeine
Avoid screen time at least 45 minutes prior to bedtime
Do you and your children get enough sleep? If not, attempt a small change. No change is too small. Promise.
